Morgan's Birthday

It is my sister, Morgan's birthday to day.  We forgot to hang up her signs the night before so we had to do it in the morning. She turned 18 and the most exciting thing to her about being 18 is that she can order dry ice. She wanted creamed eggs on toast for breakfast so we had that. After breakfast we did presents. During this time I put my new camera that I got from my birthday to good use.

And after that I worked on some of my gymnastics moves. Including the donut and the chest stand.
Plus after we got to eat the most carmely spot of the popcorn.

My Birthday!

My Birthday was on June 21st. I woke up and there was signs that said happy birthday. Then I went to the bathroom and it had signs all over too. I walked up stairs and could smell my birthday breakfast cooking.         We had eggs and toast. I wanted to do presents after breakfast but we had to wait until Haylee got home from work. Josh, Brooke, and I went to Vanessa's. My mom couldn't find any chicken for the dinner I wanted so we went to school lunch instead. When we got back Haylee was home so we went inside to do presents. I got lots of things for crafts. I got some socks and jeans and a new swimsuit and skinny jeans. I got my own camera. There was a lot more things, but I can't remember all of it. We went back to play with Vanessa. Then at 6:00 we all got ready to go swimming at the Logan pool. Vanessa came over and we took her up with us. We played in the pool and went of the diving board. We were soaking wet the whole way home. I took a quick hot shower then had some hot chocolate. The next day we had my cheesecake.

Lance and Birthday!

I forgot to do it on fathers day but I want to tell my dad, I hope you read this beacause i'm not that good with saying it to you. I have to "say" it how i can, by writing. I think so far you have raised me well. I'm just going to say all the things I have picked up from you.
  1. I did get some OCD from you. (if it makes you feel any better I don't have as much as you.)
  2. I throughly think through scriptures like you.
  3. I can't just stop when things aren't done.
  4. I'm sorry to say I don't have as good talking skills as you, but I still got some from you.
  5. I got your art skills.
This may not be alot, but trust me I have a lot more skills i've gotten from you. I'm not really good with all the love stuff but here It goes, I love you.

Anyway my birthday (June 21, summer solstice, first day of summer, longest day of year,) is tomorrow. I am so excited! I have had it all planned out since January. All I really want is lemons. For breakfast I want eggs with toast on grittle the good way my mom makes it. For lunch I want grilled cheese with the mini noodles we always have. For dinner I want fried chicken. For dessert I want cheese cake with raspberries. My mom is such a gem that she is already getting it all ready. I'm turning 12 and that means next sunday I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO PRIMARY! I'll kind of miss that place but i'm so excited to be done with all of it.

Some Abby Time

Alyssa, Dustin and the baby came up on tuesday last week. They stayed for a while then I told my mom we should drive up tomorrow. Alyssa heard and said that I could drive up to Idaho Falls with them in their car. Josh wanted to come to so we both packed and put our stuff in the car. On our way we stopped at big J's. We all got smoothies to eat on the way. When we got there we went straight to bed. In the morning the Abby was making some noise in the baby moniter. Alyssa asked "who wants to go check on Abby?" I hopped right up. Abby woke up a little after. Alyssa fed her then I held her for a long time. Dustin made pancakes for us. We ate those then Dustin went to work. Josh and I held Abby the whole time. We watched t.v. until Dustin got back. Then we had chicken patties and noodles for lunch. We went to the store to buy frisbees. We drove to the park and tossed them. After a while me and Alyssa walked around while pushing Abby in the stroller. We talked and walked while Josh and Dustin followed us while throwing the frisbee. We went to get snow cones after that. We held Abby and Dustin rented 2 movies. Before the movies we got to help Abby get a bath. I got to brush her hair out after while she got wrapped up by the heater. We watched Journey To Mysterious Island. We even had popcorn. The next day we had breakfast and held Abby the whole day. Latter that night we helped Alyssa and Dustin clean this place they had to. The next day our mom came around 9:00 we watched Sherlock Holmes 2. I tryed to burp Abby twice but she kept wiggling so my mom had to do it for me. We left before Dustin came home. It was nice just to have 2 people instead of 8 people who want to hold her. So I got lots of Abby time.

A Moment I'll Never Forget

My little niece Abby was born on Tuesday the 15th. I'm so excited to be an aunt. It all started when Alyssa called on Monday afternoon about 15 minutes after we got out of school, I answered and she said " We're going to the hostipal right now." "What? Really?" I prettymuch screamed. "Yes, Is mom home?" she answered. " No, but I can run and tell her. Seriously are you kidding me?" I said without breathing. " No you don't have to get mom, and it might be awhile until I have the baby, we are just driving there now, I hope your excited to be an aunt. Bye." That's when I felt that I was an aunt and the baby wasn't even born yet.
The next day we had breakfast and my dad said when we walked up. " Good morning uncle's and aunt's." "What? She had the baby? Why didn't you wake me?" I said. " She had her around 3:00a.m. today." He replied. "What's her name?" Josh asked. "Abby Lynn Ackerman." My mom said. I was freaking out in my head I could barley even do anything. I was now an aunt.
That day after school all of us except Haylee, and Morgan who were working went up to Idaho Falls to go see Abby. After a long car ride up we were at the hostipal. We had to wash our hands right when we got in. Then Josh got to hold her first because he asked Alyssa a long time before Abby was born. I got to hold her next she was the most cutest thing my hands could ever hold. This was my first time holding Abby and I loved it. Next Brooke held her. Then Kendon. Grandma Bonie who is now even more great then she was before held her next. My mom who is now a grandma held Abby for what seemed like for ages and didn't want to let her go. Than Grandpa Lance Harrison held Abby next even though he sometimes doesn't like to show it I could tell that he never wanted to let her go. The parents let all the little kids hold her again. I can't wait to see little Abby again, and the first time I held her is absoulutley a moment I'll Never Forget.

Mothers Day!

My little brother Josh woke me up to come up and eat by swinging our squeaky door. I was very bothererd by this but then that turned into gratefullness when I went upstairs and my mom told me that Josh knew that I only liked my eggs plain so he made me some. In church they made the primary kids sing mother songs wich I still have to since my birthday is in the summer. After church we gave our grandma Bonnie presents and then went to deliver Morgan's graduation cards. We got home from that and started to make my mom's snowball cake. After that we got out blankets and put them outside. Morgan did nails while I showed my family my how to do a roundoff backhandspring for school. Morgan did my nails rainbow zebra. After that we of course watched a movie. Then we gave my mom presents.

Dear Mom-
You are one of the most important things to me. I'm so glad that you gave birth to me. You teach me to work and many other life things. You care so much about me and some day I want to be as good as mom as you. No other mom in my opinion will ever reach how good you are to me. I love you to the moon and back and a lot more.
                                                    love, Sydney Belle Harrison

An Elder... on his mission

Well on my last (long ago blog) I wrote how Luis decided to go on his mission. The other day he got set apart to go on his mission. His mom came and after the prayer she started crying and crying. Then Luis started crying too. After all the crying Luis talked about how excited he was for the MTC, and his mission.
