8th Grade Graduation

A few weeks ago in May I graduated from 8th grade. I loved some parts of the year but others not so much. I am super glad its over and its now summer. I'm really sad because my favorite teacher, Mrs. Bright, is moving to Boise. She was going to move to teach art in the high school but her husband got a job in Boise. My favorite parts of the year were gym, art, and English. At graduation I got three awards. I got the High Honors award earned by a 4.0 GPA through all three grades of Junior High. I got the Art award given by Mrs. Bright to two of her students. I got the presidential award given to honors students and signed by the president. I'm going to miss Junior high but I'm excited for high school.

Kendon's Mission Call

Kendon received his mission call! He is going to the Fresno, California mission speaking Spanish. We got the packet in the morning before school. My mom was so anxious we had to hide it from her  because she wanted to open it so bad. Haylee and Brooke made a poster with the outlines of all the countries. Haylee put a post on Instagram for people to guess where Kendon would be going. We asked many of his friends and family their guesses. Once we had all the guesses we put stickers on the poster along with the writing of who guessed it and where they guessed. Some of Kendon's friends came and we Face Timed the Fulford's. The living room was crowded and there was many cameras snapping. Kendon read it out loud to us.when he got to the part of where he was going he started laughing because Brock guessed Disneyland which was the closet to Fresno. Kendon is going to be a great missionary. I'm going to miss his loud and sometimes obnoxious voice, his crazy dancing, his singing, and his weird comments. I know he's going to be great and bring many people to Christ, but I'll still miss him.
