Snowy Little Preston

     Preston gets a lot of snow from December through February. The snow stays until April. Today was bad.     We went out and shoveled around nine. By the time we were done the ground was already covered. We shoveled it four times before going to church. They would have canceled church if it weren't Ward Conference. The men with trucks went around shoveling town. I hope it is still bad tomorrow so school will be canceled.      

Homemade Delights

     My mom makes amazing food. Almost all of it is always homemade. It is always good, well not all the time for me. It is surprising that I like a lot of it because i'm such a picky eater. She has been trying many new recipes lately. Most come from Pinterest. Last night we had pork chops with a sauce to put on it, potatoes with lemons to squeeze over it, and green beans. For dessert we had chocolate filled chocolate chip muffins. It was all so good. I'm glad my mom spends time cooking for us it is a lot better than any fast food places, restaurants, or store bought items. Thanks mom.

 

Christmas

     For Christmas this year we had an extra present. We got to spend it with Abby, also Alyssa and Dustin. We lined up youngest to oldest as tradition. We all watched Abby the whole time, spending time with her was the best present. I got a lot of things for gymnastics and dance, which is nice because I've been needing things for them.
      Everyone was happy, as well as sick. We made it through okay. Except Brooke who is still sick. This was a great year and very fun and exciting. Merry-late-Christmas everyone!

A Day With Morgan (and a little more painting on Sunday)

     My mom wants a painting in our dining room. She bought a canvas and had Morgan go to work. The out come had not gone as they planned, but you can always start over. That is what she did.

She found a picture she liked and started. This is where I came in. We traded off painting. Morgan helped me with it. We worked on it all of Saturday. It still isn't done, almost though.

Abc News

     My dad got to go talk on good things Utah on Saturday. Josh and I tagged along with him. It was really cool down there, we got to see how all the t.v. was set up and how they work it all. My dad talked on West Nile and how it has affected him. When he was talking about I remembered back, I was only seven. My whole family was scared because people have died from it before. After he was done talking Josh and I took some pictures.
